Psalm 10:17-18

¹⁷ Lord, you heard the desire of the afflicted;
    you will strengthen them,^[a]
        you will listen carefully,
¹⁸ to do justice for the orphan^[b] and the oppressed,
    so that men of the earth may cause terror no more.
